  • Card Club-Handmade Hellos

    Get a jump start on your Valentines! Karen is such a talented cardmaker, you'll have friends wishing to be your Valentine just to get your cards! This year Karen's classes will include the following: positive affirmation cards, holiday themes, masculine cards, birthdays and lots of techniques! Each class includes 5 projects. (Saturday schedule this month only due to the holiday.)

    The Pinecone Press Book Club is a nationwide program which meets once monthly. The program is based on a newly released papercraft idea book. Along with the book, two kits of fabulous product are released: Kit A and Kit B. During class we review the new book and complete Kit A. As a Book Club Member, you have the option of buying the book and/or Kit B at a discount. You also get lots of other awesome perks: 15% off all regular priced merchandise all the time!! 40% off one regular priced item during your birthday month! First dibs at a great new book and wonderful product kits--some of which we don't carry in the store! Priceless friendship and camaraderie!! For 2009, we are adding a second session!!   • Get Organized Challenge

    Do you spend hours searching for your scrapbook supplies? Do you have to clean off your scrap table just to find it? Do you still have scrapbook supplies in the store sacks you brought them home in??!! If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this class is for you!! Join us as we tackle every Scrapbooker's New Year's Resolution: Get more organized! Curriculum includes:
        Needs Assessment and Plan of Action
        Organizing Paper
        Organizing Photos
        Basic Supplies, Tools and Adhesive
        Flat Page Enhancements (stickers, diecuts and tags)
        Embellishments (ribbon and fiber)
        Page Planning and Preparing for a Crop
    Time to organize has been built into this class! Class will be limited to the first 12 students to allow for maximum space. Each student will have her own six foot table. Class enrollment includes follow-up emails, tips, and graduation crop.
                                What to bring:
    1) your collection of printed paper and cardstock
    2) your photos (you may wish to limit this to one particular year)
    3) your collection of ribbon/fibers
    4) any organizational products pertaining to the above categories
    5) label maker (you may choose to hand label if you do not have a label maker)
    Students may purchase organizational products before or during class at a 20% discount. If you follow the steps in the class you are guaranteed to scrapbook more in 2009!
  • Beautiful You

    Georgia will teach you how to get started with scrapbooking. You will get to test out our tools, create a 2-page layout of your own, and ask as many questions as you can think up! Bring a friend, get a new person involved in archiving memories! Class is free, but space is limited. Advance sign-up is recommended!

    This is a 90-minute class geared for kids ages 6-12. Includes a snack! This month we are making 4 Valentine cards and decorating a Valentine mailbox. Bring paper trimmer, scissors, and adhesive.

    Wow! 2009 has arrived and Tracy has a fully decorated 8x8 calendar to help you start the new year. Each month has room for photos. Start taking a monthly photo of your family, kids, or friends to see how they change throughout the year. When the year is over you can cut your pages out and apply them to an album! Embellishing with lots of QK dies and calendar stamps!

    Georgia will take you to the next level of scrapbooking! Open to SDU grads only! More details in store. Space is limited. Topics include patterned paper, embellishment savvy, and advanced punching.

    Do more with your digital craft cutter! This class is not a project class. You will learn how to use your Silhouette to do word welding, shadowing, importing images, and drawing your own images. Space is limited, sign-up is required.
